About Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery Volunteers
The SWVAVC Volunteers' is a public charity for the purpose of supporting the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery to include, but not exclusively: The purchase and placement of wreaths on Veterans gravesites at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, in Dublin, Virginia on National Wreath Laying Day each year; Serve as Ambassadors attending and assisting families at burials; Obtaining tangible items such as flags and poles, benches, memorials, flora and fauna to enhance and/or support the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery; To educate the public about the cemetery and the sacrifices made by the veterans who served our nation; and Any other projects approved by the board of directors to support the cemetery.
