The Fisher House Kansas City is located on the grounds of the Kansas City VA Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The 16-suite home away from home serves veterans and current military families eligible to receive health care from the Kansas City VA. The House is operated by the VA and volunteerism is overseen by The Greater Kansas City Friends of Fisher House, a 501(c)3 non-profit that raises funds to support the Fisher House. This group is supported by the Fisher House Foundation, an international charity based in the US.
